14 pupils trampled to death in school stampede

Fourteen pupils of Kakamega Primary School died yesterday following a stampede at their school.

The incident that took place on the third floor of the five-storeyed building left one pupil admitted at the Kakamega Referral Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU), two in a critical condition with 39 others nursing injuries.
