Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has lost faith in Alexis Sanchez's ability to turn his Old Trafford nightmare around - and will rush Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial back from injury to face Liverpool instead of turning to the Chilean.

The former Arsenal striker, who earns £505,000 a week at United, hasn't started for Solskjaer's team since being hauled off during January's 1-0 win against Leicester and will sit out again against the Reds despite the club's recent injury troubles up front.
