Showdown looms between the National Super Alliance (NASA) and the electoral commission after it became apparent that some of the demands the Opposition had placed before participating in the October 26 elections had been rejected.

At least six conditions NASA insisted they would not backtrack on have since been overtaken by events and can no longer be on the table for negotiation.
