The Kanjo cartel milking cash from motorists at city zebra crossing

Some law enforcement officers at City hall variously known as Kanjus have turned rogue and are now running extortion cartels.

One victim told a harrowing ordeal to after he was kidnapped by two askaris.

He says the rotten characters are preying motorists at a zebra crossing near Kamukunji and Country bus stations. They pounce on motorists who cross the crossing even for a few meters, then force their vehicles and hold the motorist incommunicado until they are paid a hefty ransom.
