Farmers Party endorses Uhuru Kenyatta, William Ruto re-election

As a party whose heart is always with the farmer and whose vision is to see the realisation of an environmentally sustainable, food secure, and healthy Kenya, we are proud to associate ourselves with the Jubilee administration, which has turned around the agricultural sector, the backbone of Kenya’s economy and source of livelihood for the majority of the rural population.

Most of our members, including more than 80 candidates vying for various elective seats in the coming polls, are farmers. We urge them to not only turn out in large numbers to vote for President Uhuru Kenyatta but also to be his campaigners. As a party that puts the public first and whose ultimate aim is to see an economy that gives everyone their fair share, a society capable of supporting everyone’s needs, and a country protected from the threat of climate change now and in the future, we are humbled by the President’s transformative plans that are changing the lives of Kenyans as well as protecting the environment.
