Why Waiguru’s new tactics place her above Ndathi in Kirinyaga governorship race

On April 21, 2017, Kirinyaga residents will go to the ballot to nominate Jubilee candidates who will battle it out with others in the August 8 elections. The past weeks have seen increased activities in the county, as each aspirant seeks to gain more ground ahead of the nominations.

One key campaign that has caught the interest of the residents is that of former Cabinet Secretary Anne Waiguru. While the other aspirants have focused on Constituency visits, the former Cabinet Secretary has gone a step further with her Meet The People tour, targeting voters in the wards.
