Uhuru secondary debacle a shame to the teaching fraternity

The gory scenes and soundbites emanating from Uhuru Secondary School, Nairobi, pitting the institution's principal against two female teachers are not music to many educationists.

As TSC and security agencies drag their feet to address the ghastly pogroms, the teaching profession is already soiled.

It is alleged, that the principal of the said school had requested the ladies to be his lovers but they refused.

Since then, the headteacher in collusion with an elected female teachers' union official based in that school, have ensured that the two ladies experience hell on earth.

It is unfortunate, that teachers, a mirror of the society can stoop this Low. We hope that law enforcers will not be compromised and that justice will be served.
