Vocal University of Nairobi student leader Babu Owino who is eying the Embakasi East political seat now thinks there is a cartel behind the ongoing burning of schools and has called on the government to intervene immediately to stop the arson.
“Boarding schools around the country have been hit by a storm of violent unprecedented fires and we as the student fraternity are wondering why (it) is taking too long to bring this mess to a stop. Burning of schools undermines the right to basic education,” Babu told Pulse.
