Uhuru’s frequent trips are a burden to the taxpayer

President Uhuru Kenyatta has broken a record in Kenya as the most traveling president in the history of the country. A recent study showed that President Uhuru Kenyatta has made more foreign trips in his three years tenure compared to the ten years of Mwai Kibaki in office. If he is not attending the Independence Day in Ghana, Uhuru is attending the heads of East African states in Tanzania, or he is in Addis Ababa attending the AU heads of states. When not in Africa, President Uhuru is in Israel or China or Japan or Australia for a state visit many of which have minor economic importance to the nation.

All these foreign trips are made at the expense of the Kenyan Tax Payers’ money. President Kenyatta is, therefore, burdening Kenyans with all these money, which should be directed to something more important to the nation and its citizens.
