Has the boy-child been neglected?

Life is short and time is precious. Prevention is better than cure as they say. Before my intentions raise curiosity and my passion in writing generate a heated debate, the big question is, what happened to the boy child?

Most institutions and organizations are dedicating themselves to save the baby girl. Does it mean that our boys are less important or should be left out of the society? Imagine a society without responsible young men. Where young men are indulging in immoral behaviors. Drinking beyond their limit and early sexual behaviors.

This has led to high cases of sexually transmitted diseases and subsequently HIV/AIDS infection. I am of the opinion that we are tightening one end and leaving the other end loose. Therefore, ours is a lost generation.
