Here's how Mark Too's family is likely to be 'rewarded'.

Nandi Member of Parliament Alfred Keter called for the support of the late Mark Too's son to the East African Legislative Assembly post.

Keter, while addressing mourners during the burial ceremony held on Monday at his Kapsabet home in Uasin Gishu county urged leaders to support the nomination of one of the politician's family member to the position, further to which they would approve at the national assembly.

"Once the appointment to the East African Legislative Assembly is made, we will ensure that parliament approves it, "said Mr. Keter.

Leaders attending the funeral lauded Mr. Too of having been generous and committed to peace and unity.

They said there were no better ways to award the family for the role played by the late Too to the country and society with Nandi Governor Cleophas Lagat promising to name a street after him.

"We will rename one of our roads in Nandi after Mr. Too as it is where he was born. We are the home of champions and he is one that we have lost," said Dr. Lagat.

Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen in his message said the piece of land he had purchased near the Eldoret Airport and questioned on had been one of the deals he completed under Mr. Too's guidance.

Deputy president William Ruto took his tough on an earlier address by Baringo Senator Gideon Moi insisting that the Kalenjin community has to be united and have a clear path.

He said the retired, President Moi had been in power because of the people's unity and urged the mourners to avoid leaders playing divisive politics which Senator Moi is being accused off.

President Kenyatta, who narrated to the gathering how he had been helped to get into politics by Mr. Too and Moi pledged to support the family members just as his hand had been held into his destiny.

Mr. Too, back in the days, stepped down for President Kenyatta's nomination into parliament.
