The DPP through State prosecutor Gikui Gichuhi yesterday told High Court judge James Wakiaga that since Tabitha and her husband Joseph Karanja had already been charged over Sh14 billion tax fraud, they have no new evidence to warrant their fear of re-arrest.

Justice Wakiaga marked as settled application by Tabitha and Karanja which sought to stop the DPP from further arrest and prosecution.

The entrepreneurs had, through lawyer Irungu Kang’ata, filed the application for anticipatory bail.
