Governor Waititu in war with Postal Corporation over land

KIAMBU, KENYA: The Postal Corporation of Kenya is embroiled in row with Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu after the later allegedly invaded the land belonging to the state corporation in Makongeni Thika measuring 1.9 hectares.

The parastatal in a statement by Post Master General Dan Kagwe issued on his behalf by Mr Gichuki Njeru who is the Corporate and Public Affairs manager said they were shocked to see the governor accompanied by his supporters and county officials invade the land without any notice to the corporation.
