The Kenyan shilling held steady against the dollar yesterday, drawing support from
remittances and investors buying government debt, traders said.

Commercial banks quoted the shilling at Sh100.80/101.00 per dollar, unchanged from Friday's close.

The local unit last week faced demand from importers and banks after a standby arrangement with the International Monetary Fund.
