Central bank to hold rate-setting meeting next month

The Kenyan central bank’s Monetary Policy Committee will hold its next rate-setting gathering on September 29, the bank said on Friday.

At its last meeting in July, the bank left its benchmark lending rate unchanged for the third time in a row at 7.0 per cent.
