Community elders, religious leaders, and men and boys have been enlisted to lead renewed efforts to end HIV/AIDS by 2030, in a bold push to challenge stigma and reshape harmful beliefs associated with the disease.

Despite decades of progress, stigma remains deeply entrenched in some communities and religious circles, where HIV is still associated with promiscuity and sin.
