Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has warned to President William Ruto of a brewing political wave that will sweep him out of power.

Kalonzo also put on notice Ukambani politicians who have aligned with the Kenya Kwanza government.

Wiper leader said he is ready to fight for presidency, saying he is the only man fit to floor President Ruto in next General Election.

Kalonzo said that just like Senegal’s opposition candidate Bassirou Diomaye Faye won the elections, Kenya will witness a similar contest.

“The political situation that will engulf Kenya in 2027 will probably be stronger than what the people of Senegal just witnessed. Kenyans are fed up. People want their rights respected,” said Kalonzo during a burial in Kaiti, Makueni.

Kalonzo said that a political storm that will sweep Ruto out of office is brewing. He said the country is headed for a repeat of what happened in Kenya in 2002 and 1963.

“What I see coming to Kenya will be stronger than 2002 and probably 1963. I will make William Ruto a one-term president for the sake of this country because he even acknowledges I will be facing him,” he said.

Kalonzo took a swipe on Ukambani leaders allied to the Kenya Kwanza government asking them to stop swaying locals with government goodies.

“If anybody tries to buy your loyalty through donations in terms of money, among others, please take them and tell those dishing out the cash that is not enough to uproot my popularity from this region,” Kalonzo said.

He added: “If I don’t stop this story now, you will continue getting bribed with your own money. We are all taxpayers as citizens and they should ensure they give services to everybody.”

The former vice-president warned the Kamba community against supporting the Ruto-led government.

He said the few who joined the government will be voted out.

“It is not going to be easy. We need to tighten ourselves and never allow ourselves to be used as sycophants. This community has been short-changed before,” Kalonzo said.
