The 94th Mashemeji Derby pitting arch rivals Gor Mahia FC against AFC Leopards SC is just around the corner and football enthusiasts are already excited.

The crunch tie expected to attract a mammoth crowd will be held at Kasarani Stadium on Saturday.

Gor head to the match a better side, resting second on the log on nine points after five games in the new season.

On the other hand, struggling Leopards are placed 15th overall on four points.

One of the football fanatics who has vowed not to miss the expected adrenaline encounter is the latest SportPesa Mega Jackpot bonus winner El-Aden Wambita.

Wambita, who hails from Homabay County, is such a staunch supporter of 20 times Kenyan Premier League champions K’Ogalo.

Wambita is already routing for Gor’s victory in the expected cutthroat clash.

“Gor will carry the derby going by their latest winning streak and respectable position on the log,” the father of one told Standard Sports.

Wambita was Wednesday rewarded by gaming firm SportPesa for correctly predicting 16 out of the 17 Mega Jackpot games held at the weekend. The feat earned him Sh11, 499,283.

It was Joel Matip’s (Liverpool) 96th minute own goal that gifted Tottenham Hotspur FC victory, that painfully denied Wambita the lucrative Sh326,600,470 Mega Jackpot.

"I feel good for the bonus, I could not believe it when I received the congratulations message from SportPesa, my family had to do a bit of withdrawal in order to confirm if it was real," Wambita underlined.

The pharmaceutical technologist says he will use part of the money to pay tithe and sort out his siblings education.

"I will give financial support to my mother, I have also planned to invest in some businesses and also sort out my fees at Amref International School where I'm also a student," he said.

While hailing Wambita for the victory, SportPesa Public Relations Manager Willis Ojwang said: "We are the home of jackpots, the factory of millionaires, we are in the customer service week and we are greatly proud to reward Wambita for his feat."
