Four people have gone to court seeking an order to stop the county assembly from implementing a motion reinstating three MCAs to various committees after they were dewhipped by their party.
The four petitioners argued that the Meru County Assembly, the Speaker and three MCAs flouted various principles of governance when they reinstated MCAs Kimathi Ithibua, Romano Mwito and Gabriel Chokera after the ward reps had been dewhipped by their party.
