Kobe and their daughter Gianna, popularly referred to as Gigi, along with seven others passed away in January after a plane they were travelling in crashed.

In a 2001 video Vanessa also shared, Kobe spoke about finding ‘the one’.

“It’s hard to pinpoint what exactly makes a person the one for you, but you just know,” he said. “But all I know is that she caught my heart and I just knew she was the one.”
