Pastor hacks sister-in-law in Murang’a

A middle-aged woman from Gikomora Village in Maragua Sub County is fighting for her life after she was hacked by her brother–in- law. Felister Njoki was rushed to Maragua Level 4 Hospital while unconscious after she was slashed with a machete by Patrick Mungai, a pastor with Seventh Day Adventist Church. Villagers were alerted by screams of Njoki in the morning when the pastor woke up and started slashing her with a machete.

Residents who talked alleged that Mungai, who stays in Nairobi, made a call to one of his sons informing him he will kill his mother and her child once he arrives at their rural home in Murang’a. The son alerted his mother enabling her to flee their home before Mungai arrived.
