Two people were killed on the spot after their vehicle lost control ramming into a tractor which had been parked by roadside at Ntulele area along Narok-Maai Mahiu road.
According to area County Police Commandant Aden Yunis, the private vehicle aToyota Spacio was heading towards Narok town direction when the accident happened.
"It was around 2pm when the vehicle which is believed to have over speeding hit the tractor from behind killing the two occupants instantly,”said Mr Yunis.
He also said the two, a female and male suffered fatal injuries.
The commander said the bodies of the two deceased have since been ferried to Narok County Referral Hospital mortuary while the wreckage of the vehicle towed to Ntulele Police station yard.
Mr Yunis said investigation into the cause of the accident saying that the initial report indicate that the vehicle might have been on high speed.
He said: "From the impact, this vehicle might have been over speeding.”
The commandant has however warned motorists against over speeding along the raid which he said is a black spot.
"Those driving along the stretch should be extra careful against driving on high speed because it kills,"said the County Police boss.
