Three killed, two injured in dawn crash

Three people were killed and two others injured when two lorries collided head on near Suswa on the Narok-Mai Mahiu road.

The three died on the spot while the injured are undergoing treatment at the Narok County Referral hospital.  

“The accident occurred at around 7am when the lorries collided near Suswa Girls Secondary School. The dead were in one of the lorries,” Narok East Sub-County Police Commander Benjamin Mwanzia said.

The crash brings to 11 the number of people killed in road accidents within the county.

A fortnight ago, four people were killed after a matatu they were traveling in lost control at Katakala area along the Bomet-Narok road and rolled several times. A tyre burst at Narok-Sekenani road had killed four a few days before.
