Central Organization of Trade Union (COTU) Secretary General Francis Atwoli on Wednesday visited retired president Daniel Moi at his home in Kabarak.

According to the reports from the office of former president, the talks revolved around national unity and making social and economic progress in the country.

COTU boss lauded Mzee Moi for his calmness and being sensitive to issues affecting Kenyans, adding that the union members are impressed by his support.

Mr Atwoli was accompanied by Devolution Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa and Tiaty legislator William Kamket.

This comes after the COTU boss ignited the referendum debate when he came out public with a call for the constitutional amendments to scale down the government expenditure.
