Mentally sick teenager defiles nursery school girls in Kakamega

A teenager accused of defiling six nursery school girls could be mentally handicapped, a court has heard.

A mental assessment report showed the boy, aged 15, was not fit to take a plea.

The boy is accused of defiling girls in Mukhonje village in Lurambi on July 23.

He is said to have waylaid the girls, aged between three and eight, on their way from school.

The case will resume on August 28, when the head teacher of Mukhonje Special School, where the boy is said to be a student, will testify. Meanwhile, he is being held at Kakamega Juvenile Remand Home.
