Trade unions call for inspection of foreign companies breaching labour laws

A union has urged the Ministry of Labour to investigate foreign companies undertaking various projects in the country for alleged abuse of workers’ rights.

Speaking at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru during Labour Day celebrations, the Kenya Building, Timber and Construction Industries Workers Union Secretary Maurice Shisoka said the companies should be regularly inspected to curb exploitation.
