Policeman among six killed in Easter crime incidents in Nairobi

A police officer is among six people killed in separate incidents during the Easter weekend in Nairobi.

Constable James Thumbi Githua died from his injuries hours after being shot in the mouth by suspected thugs in Mowlem.

According to police and his family, Mr Githua was walking to his work station at Kariobangi Police Station when he was confronted by three men.

The gangsters shot him twice in the mouth and robbed him.
