The National Super Alliance (NASA) is today expected to hold a peaceful protest dubbed 'We want the truth' outside the Supreme Court.

The coalition through its official Facebook page, indicated that some of the leaders who will lead in the picketing include Dagoretti North MP Simba Arati, Nairobi MCAs, Activist Japheth Muroko and members of Bunge La Wazalendo and Bunge La Mwananchi.

NASA filed the petition at the Supreme Court challenging the declaration of President-elect Uhuru Kenyatta as the winner of the General Election last Friday night.

NASA leader Raila Odinga alleged that the electronic results transmission system was hacked to generate fake results.

Raila reiterated their decision to go to court gives a second chance for the Supreme Court to either ‘redeem itself’ or like in 2013, compound the problems we face as a country.

The petition which was filed just one and a half hours to the deadline by NASA's legal team of about 20 lawyers includes a 25,000 page affidavit.

In 2013, the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) led by Raila Odinga submitted a 900 page document while challenging the presidential results. The Supreme Court, however, rejected the document.
