Blow to Jubilee as 600 grass root officials jump ship to NASA

Jubilee Party’s on Tuesday received suffered a significant setback in Deputy William Ruto’s Uasin Gishu County backyard when 600 grass root officials jumped ship the National Super Alliance (NASA).

The 600, who were a part of Jubilee’s grass root mobilization team, were welcomed to the Opposition party by former Eldoret South MP Jese Mais and Uasin Gishu NASA coordinator Kipkorir arap Menjo at Ngeny grounds, Soy Constituency.

Speaking to Citizen Digital, the defectors said they decided to ditch Jubilee Party for NASA because they had been given a raw deal by the Uhuru Kenyatta led party.

Accusing Jubilee of poor governance, the 600 said that life has become harder for Kenyans since the UhuRuto duo took over. They said that bad leadership was to blame for the tough economic times that the county is facing.

They further faulted the government for condoning corruption, saying that graft was responsible for unemployment and inequitable distribution of resources.
