Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has leapt into the upper echelons of British sport's richest in his first, and perhaps only, year in the Premier League.
But the Swede is well behind three-time world Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton, who remains the wealthiest sportsman from or in the UK.
Mercedes driver Hamilton, who is bidding to win his fourth World Championship this year, has a £131million fortune and has seen his wealth increase by £25million in the last 12 months to stay top of the Sunday Times Rich List.
Ibrahimovic, 35, leapfrogged team-mate Wayne Rooney to become the richest footballer on the list after he joined the English side in July last year.
