DEATH: Man from Western shocks the world with epic mourning style

If you have come from ‘Ocha’, say a burial ceremony, especially when you are from Western or Nyanza region, then you have probably been left bamboozled by how death evokes so much pain, creating funny mourning styles in the process.

From crying loudly while dancing to the ‘matanga’ music, to dancing around the coffin, Kenyan communities never fall short of drama while mourning the dead during funerals.

However, a man from Western Kenya shocked the world when he adopted his own mourning technique. The residents of Western Kenya are well known for their different, call them awkward methods of sending off the dead.

The man, a Boda Boda rider, produced one of the most unique mourning styles ever seen. He had lost a relative in an accident and he saw no better than to swim in muddy waters while grieving, arousing people’s attention.

Call it over the top, but he’ll surely wash it all off after the pain is over.
