Incumbent Governor Rasanga wins Siaya ODM nominations

Jubilation in Siaya County as incumbent Governor Cornel Rasanga declared winner in ODM primaries. He garnered 143,446 votes in the nominations after a titanic battle in the county which raptured celebrations among his supporters.

Rarieda MP Nicholas Gumbo managed to get 87,467 votes in the elections.

Senator James Orengo and Women Rep Christine Ombaka also beat rivals during the ODM nominations in Siaya County.

Nicholas Odhiambo has disputed the results saying tallying was still underway. He said those celebrating were hired goons.
