Chief Justice David Maraga has intervened in a row over the work stations of two High Court judges recently posted to Nyandarua County.

The two judges were were deployed to the Nyahururu Law Courts, causing an outcry from the Law Society of Kenya, South Rift region.

The LSK in a petition sought to have the two transferred to Engineer town, which they argued was the central point.

Justice Maraga convened a crisis meeting in Nyahururu town to have the matter solved.

In the petition by most lawyers who serve in Naivasha town, they argued Nyahururu law courts were in Laikipia County and hence would make it expensive for residents of Upper Nyandarua region to travel to Nyahururu to get justice.
