What the husband to the late former NTV presenter, Janet Kanini had to say as he eulogized her

Former NTV presenter Janet Kanini's husband finally opens up to tell what he feels after the death of her beloved wife.

George Ikua in his tribute said that it so painful and hurting to lose somebody he thought was going to stay with him, giving him hope in life.

In addition, he said that it is hard to soldier on with life but the one thing that has kept him going is a belief that Janet still lives, following a stream of memories they had as a couple.

In his tribute to the departed wife, he said that it has been hard for him to pray and thank God for the life he gave to her and the good moments He allowed them to share as a couple because he is feeling the gap left by the wife.

According to him, God planned it that way, He wanted it to be like that. He further reveals that even though he has to accept the reality he still wonders why she had to die.

He goes on to say that though he doesn’t understand some things as a human being, he understands that there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

Kanini’s husband said that to him the death of his wife is a painful lesson. All in all, he said that he has nothing to do but accept the harsh reality because everything works for the good of those who love the Lord.

Ikua added that as human beings, we will never know the value of something until we lose it. At the absence of his wife, he now understands that her departed wife formed an integral part of his life.

To her wife, he said that all the tragedy she had was for a reason and one day it will bring a transformation.

"But we’ll get by (Bye), we’ll see the light (Yeah), in the morning its gonna be alright (Its gonna be ok baby. The circumstance is in the plan even if we don’t fully understand why the bad things happen to good people,” said Ikua

When she was still alive, Janet Kanini made special mention of her husband who she said was her only source of hope and encouragement when the doctors had given her less than six months to live after she was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer.

Janet Kanini died on Saturday after a long battle with lung cancer.
