Man in Bungoma confronts sister over piece of chicken

Residents of Bondeni Estate in Bungoma town were yesterday evening drawn into a rude shock after one man confronted his sister over a piece of chicken.

It is alleged the man only identified as Wasike came home feeling very hungry and stumbled on chicken delicacy and ugali in the kitchen. Since he could not find his mother at the moment he served himself and started enjoying until his sister, Nekesa surfaced and confronted him.

“How can you serve yourself large pieces” his sister was heard lamenting.

His furious brother could not buy her theory but instead accused her of overstaying at their home instead of finding a man to marry her.

“Women of your age are in their matrimonial homes not causing a jam at their parents” agitated Wasike confronted his sister.

According to their neighbor Mary Nangabo, the heated exchange of words and insults followed and could have degenerated into a physical fight had it not been the intervention of neighbors.

The incident left neighbors wagging their tongues in dismay as they murmured in hushed tones. Wasike has vowed to evict her notorious sister least she stops snooping into his business for no apparent reason.

“If she continues with this habit I will have to evict her” warned Wasike.
