Murang'a Hotel and Bar Association members have warned that only registered voters will be allowed into their premises.

The association officials led by James Waweru and Simon Jogoo said once the voter registration exercise is concluded, unregistered persons will not be allowed into their premises.

In a press conference, they said the 2,000 members spread in all the eight sub-counties will mobilise voters for registration.

This comes as Murang'a county commissioner John Elungata continues with a series of meetings to sensitisise the youth in the area to acquire identity cards.

Elungata said the chiefs were working in partnership with the department of registration of persons to ensure all the youths acquire identity cards.
