This gravy/fat separator is designed to separate fat from food in gravy and sauces. Made in form of a graduated gravy jug, the manufacturer touts it as ideal for lowering fat, oil and cholesterol intake. The transparent jug has clearly marked measuring scales.
The integrated straining lid to filter food from the gravy can be removed for use as an individual measuring jug. It is made of transparent plastic, holds a capacity of 500ml and is cleaned by hand wash only. It costs Sh1,750.
