Over 120 students from Kitutu Chache to get help from Sh4m bursary

Over 120 university students from humble families in Kitutu Chache North will benefit from a Sh4 million bursary raised by professionals from the area.

The beneficiaries, who are in various universities across the country and East Africa, will receive tuition fees from the contributions. Speaking at the funds drive at Kenyoro PAG grounds, group patron Julius Ogamba, a lawyer, said the number of university students unable to access fees to complete their education had increased.

“This money goes a long way in helping students with tuition fees. We have held such events for the last three years and many are being helped,” he said.
