BLADES LEAVE USIU TIGERS HURTING IN KENYA FOOTBALL FEDERATION PREMIER LEAGUE

Strathmore Blades defeated United States International University (Usiu) Tigers 80-57 in a Kenya Basketball Federation men's Premier League match at the Nyayo National Stadium gymnasium at the weekend.

Blades took a 40-32 half-time lead as they won the quarters 21-18, 19-14, 26-8, 14-17 with invaluable contributions coming from Joseph Ongoro and Peter Shilton, who had 26 and 13 points. Alvin Nyangweso and Kevin Kigotho had 14 and 12 points for USIU.
