Refugee who dragged pregnant wife and baby son onto train track did it because "death would be better"

A refugee father who pulled his pregnant wife and small child onto railway tracks has said he did it because he felt "death would be better" than being separated and sent to a migrant camp.

Desperate Mohammad Bakkar dragged his family onto the tracks and cradles them in his arms before distressing footage showed him being dragged away by police in Hungary.
