I recently visited a friend, Betty, and was wowed by her simple, yet unique décor. Her home is designed to evoke a coastal feeling while maintaining a modern style. The décor is a combination of coastal and modern — what we would call a contemporary coastal style. This style is bold but sticks to simple lines and basic finishes.
