Grainy CCTV footage captures the moment the worker calmly stands up and walks over to the window

This video is thought to show the moment an office worker jumped out of a window after apparently being berated by her boss.

Posted to the social network reddit, the grainy black and white video shows a blond worker walking up to a window and calmly stepping out in front of stunned colleagues.

The footage begins with a man, apparently the woman's boss, standing over the officer worker.

He appears to be berating her over something and slams a number of papers down on the desk before storming off.

As he walks away the footage, thought to be from a CCTV camera that has somehow framed the entire incident perfectly, shows the woman calmly stand up and begin walking over to a window.

She then stands on a chair and steps out of the window just a split second before startled colleagues rush over and look out.

The footage then cuts before any detail about the fate of the office worker is revealed.

The authenticity of the video cannot be verified and a version of it was uploaded to YouTube back in 2011, leading many to claim it is false.

There is no indication of where it took place, when or why the events unfolded.
