If tradition had had its way, Senior Counsel Zehrabanu Janmohamed would have been married at 17. "I remember at that age I had my first marriage proposal. I know it sounds very odd, but I did," she said in an interview with Olivia Otieno, on Spice FM's Double 'O' Direct.
"I had no clue who the man was, nobody even asked me, and all my dad told him was, 'sorry, my daughter is going to study.'"
