Nairobi top hotel linked to Willaim Ruto hit hard by cholera as more than 50 guests test positive

More than 40 people attending a science conference at Weston Hotel are feared to have been infected with Cholera, sparking a hot debate online over the sanitation standards at the hotel that has in the past been associated with Deputy president William Ruto.

So far 10 have tested positive and have been hospitalised. Nairobi County Health CEC has said the number could rise.

The conference was attended by 400 people.

It is said Ruto owns a better fraction of the facility’s shares.
