When Jemimah Jelagat Sumgong tested positive for banned substance prednisolone in her post-race anti-doping test after finishing second at the 2012 Boston Marathon, all hell broke loose.

Athletics Kenya handed her a two-year ban, but she was cleared after an appeal to IAAF. The federation said the injection she received was permitted under IAAF rules.
