All the teams participating in the Cecafa Kagame Club Championships get security escort to and from the National Stadium.

The teams are supposed to use the official entrance while warming up for their matches. However, Gor Mahia has been using the rear entrance when warming up and back to the dressing room.

In their match against Yanga, they used the rear gate and won the match 2-1 and did the same when they beat KMKM 3-1 and when they drew 1-1 with Khartoum.

Asked why they were using the rear gate, captain Musa Mohammed said the rear gate was next to the dressing room, making access easier.  — Ernest Ndunda
