A private air terminal in Las Vegas was so packed with jets for the Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Manny Pacquiao fight it reportedly closed to new incoming flights.

An army of A-list celebrities and multi-millionaires flooded into the desert city to see what was billed as the fight of the century.

Among those who flew in for the fight were Jay Z and Beyonce, Jake Gyllenhaal and Justin Bieber.

They reportedly faced a long wait to leave Las Vegas as dozens of aircraft vied for the green light to take off.

A photo of the scene just ahead of the fight was posted by Nick Woodhouse, president of Authentic Brands Group.

A global audience of around 400 million are believed to have watched  the fight, which went to all 12 rounds, with America Mayweather Jr winning a unanimous points decision.

He is reported to stand to receive up to $180million from the fight with Pacquiao getting $120million.
