Wojciech Szczesny to hold talks about his future with Arsene Wenger

Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is reportedly set to hold talks about his future with Arsene Wenger at the end of the season, as the Gunners continue to be linked with a move for Chelsea’s Petr Cech.

Reports claimed that Szczesny has become frustrated with his situation at the Emirates Stadium, with the shot-stopper having failed to have played a Premier League game for the Gunners since being fined for smoking in the showers on New Year’s Day.

With Szczesny having started just three FA Cup matches for Arsenal in the past three months, the goalkeeper is believed to have now begun fearing for his place in the Poland national side.

Wenger is claimed to be happy with the 24-year-old’s response to being dropped, but will hold talks about the shot-stopper’s long-term future at the club once the current campaign ends.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are thought to be seriously weighing up a bid for Chelsea goalkeeper Cech after the 32-year-old confirmed recently he would not continue to play second fiddle to Thibaut Courtois at Stamford Bridge next term.
