Two major events will be unfolding tonight - FIFA Ballon d’Or and EPL Monday fixture where Arsenal will be away at Villa Park.
Focus on EPL - With the form of top four teams, there is no breathing spacing even if a team wins a match by many goals. Only six points separating the top four - Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool. Any slip up means disaster to a team as the race rolls towards the crucial stretch. Well, Arsenal is no doubt in good form and they are the favourites in tonight's encounter with Aston Villa which is placed 11th on the log.
Wait a minute - Is this the same team that defeated Arsenal in the first game of the season? My thinking tells me things will be different tonight because Arsenal has a fantastic away record though facing a team that can be termed as a 'giant killer'. Where is your money on? Do you think Villa can pull another surprise on Wenger's men? 11pm is the time.
It's all happening tonight in Zurich and 10pm is the time. FIFA Ballon d’Or ( Player of the year award) ceremony will be going down. Three talented footballers will be up for the top prize - Lionel Messi, Christiano Ronaldo and Frank Ribery. Messi have won the prize before while Ronaldo coming close on a number of times. Ribery, is yet to put a signature within that circle and he believes he should win it though saying it makes no sense if he doesn't win it tonight - "It wouldn’t be the end of the world if I didn’t win, but it would be a big disappointment. Life goes on," said Ribery.
Now, considering their talents, form on pitch, achievements, club contributions and their contributions to country as well, which player would you favour for tonight's big prize and why?
