Manchester United have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Tottenham striker Harry Kane, with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy ‘refusing to pick up the phone’ to listen to any offers for his star man.

That is according to The Sun, who say the north Londoners will not entertain any approach for the England hitman.

Jose Mourinho favours a world-record move for Kane over a return to Old Trafford for Cristiano Ronaldo, but Levy is seemingly steadfast in his refusal to sell.

Kane, 23, hit 35 goals in 38 appearances for Spurs last term.
